Horns blare
just beyond the HORIZON as
the buzzed
kittens stir BENEATH
my kitchen
table.
– never feed
your kittens barbiturates
when you don’t
want them
they’ll yowl
and eat your carpet –
I experience
heart failure at
the SUDDEN
white noise
and is overcome
by blackness.
The
invisible birds come to
take me AWAY
and all I
can think of
is:
WHO will
take care of my high kittens?
